Passport and Visa

A valid passport is required for non-EU citizens for entry into GERMANY and the European Union. An identity card is sufficient for citizens of EU Member States. Please consult your Consulate for details.

Travel planning and early visa application are important, since visa applications have become subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past. It is strongly suggested that all attendees contact their local embassy to determine the travel documents they will need to visit Germany.

If you do need a visa to attend the Symposium, please apply as soon as possible, please mention this during the registration process.
